C&C3: Tiberium Wars released in 2007, reigniting the conflict between GDI and Nod in a triumphant return to the franchise's roots. The game also introduced a playable third faction; the illusive Scrin. C&C3: Tiberium Wars had one expansion pack, Kane's Wrath, which added sub-factions and extra units to the game; transforming the meta completely in the process.

As a New Year's gift, Lauren (a.k.a. Darth Jane) published an entirely new tool called the Assimilator.
